In the air and space

I’m too far apart

Bright like a contrail
that drifts in perfection

But down inside my sadness
it’s dark
it’s cool and humid

I remember anguish and the hard road

My heart swells
at your touch
sweat

Your blue eyes are full of light
and joy

Between the earth and sky
lightning strikes

I have always loved you
