The Tao te ching

From Trace elements:

Our culture is based on control, codification, and the application of force to achieve the ends we desire. We live in a world composed of resources and subject to analysis, and we’ve reached a point where the problems inherent in this approach are becoming clear, from global warming to the greed which allows half the world to starve when there’s plenty to go around. We’re missing the quiet, holistic, and feminine. We need to learn to bend, to accommodate, to allow things their own space and time. There are some clues in the Tao Te Ching, I’m sure of it.
